Overall, this shotgun rates in about Fine - Excellent condition. Mechanics: The action functions Correctly. We have not fired this shotgun. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards. Box, Paperwork & Accessories: None Our Assessment: This shotgun was Imported from Spain by Stoeger Arms Corporation, our best guess is sometime in the mid 60’s to 70’s. The gun is tastefully engraved and the wood has a classic smooth finish.
From a distance or in the safe this gun would be confused with a more expensive London SXS sidelock. The action is inherently strong, and the gun appears to have extractors currently installed with an automatic safety. With improved mod on both barrels the gun could be a great field gun, lets face it, the gun in a picture full of birds will look like an English double.
